I think I'm in love with motorcycles. I've been riding my new Harley Sportster 1200 Custom for about six months now. I bought it in the fall, and rode it all winter, stopping only to warm my toes-es when I had to.

Now that it's spring, and I can go outside with less than six layers on, I'm in love with motorcycles again. One day at a time, I guess. I'll be riding all summer, that's for sure. What a thrill! Power in the right hand, wind in the face, and virtually no cars around. At least Nashville is good for something.
These pics are from the wintery days of winter. As you can probably tell, it was below freezing outside, and I shot these on one of the only days it snowed in Nashville this year.

So what do you think of my ride? It appears that the previous owner was trying to turn it into a Heritage, or a DynaGlide, or one of those big road cruising bikes. He actually went on to purchase a Heritage Softtail Custom, so he got what he wanted, and I got what I wanted. A bike that I can afford, is easy on gas, and looks supah-good too. Nice, eh?
